A Bit About My Work

I translate complexity into clarity. As a UX strategist, researcher, and systems thinker, I work at the intersection of structure, culture, and human behavior—turning multi-layered problems into experiences that feel intuitive, calm, and inevitable.

With a background spanning fashion, graphic design, and UX, I bring an anthropological lens to understanding what’s happening beneath the surface. I specialize in identifying hidden patterns, untangling fractured flows, and restructuring information so that user needs and business goals align without unnecessary friction. Whether rethinking an admissions ecosystem or modernizing a marketplace, my work is grounded in insight, restraint, and clarity.

I also write as an essayist—examining how design, technology, and systems shape the way we think and live. This habit of interrogation informs my practice: I don’t just solve for usability; I study the cultural and structural forces that produce friction in the first place.

My approach is shaped by my upbringing in Japan, where sequencing, balance, and respect for space are foundational. I bring these principles to every system I touch—designing experiences that remain composed on the surface even when the underlying architecture is complex. I believe the best design doesn’t announce itself; it earns clarity through structure.
